• You will be picked up from your hotel or preferred location in Dubai by your Safari Captain. Travel in an air-conditioned 4x4 Land Cruiser to the desert. On the way, listen to some interesting stories about this landmark.


• Upon arrival, take a short break for 20- 25 minutes in the rest area or you can go for an optional quad biking, if interested. In the meantime, your Captain will make the Land Cruiser ready for the off-road drive.


• Begin exploring the desert with dune bashing. Feel your goosebumps when the vehicle climb up and down the steep dunes. This will continue for the next 30-45 minutes, enjoy each moment of this off read experience. Followed by this, you can try sandboarding, a desert sport. Keep your balance and body posture as instructed, and glide down the dunes and play close with the smooth sandbanks. Do not forget to click the best snaps of the Fossil and Camel Rock with your cameras. In regards to the timing, you can also enjoy a magnificent sunset view.


• Next, we will go to Al Khayma desert camp for more fun, cultural activities, and entertainment. As you reach the camp, you will be welcomed with local Gahwa (Arabic coffee/ tea), Gaymat (sweet) and dates. Then it is time for a short camel ride around the camp premises.


• Retreat to the camp and resume with the cultural activities. Try shisha smoking, get painted with henna designs. Try your hands on Arab makeover and take photos with the falcon. Thereafter, watch a beautiful Tanoura dance on the stage and then savor a delicious BBQ dinner with tasty desserts. Enjoy and relax for some time by enjoying a belly dance show.

• Pick up will be 45 minutes prior to your booked time based on your location and drop off is based on your hotel location and the city traffic. If there are any changes, you will be notified by email.
• Please wear sports shoes for safe sandboarding.
• We also recommend not to eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid the vomiting/ sickness during the dune bashing.
• We assure you that all our desert Safari Captains are well trained and licensed as safari drives. The entire fleet of Land Cruiser vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with the needed safety facilities such as Roll Bars, Seat Belts, Government Tracker, GPS, GMS, First Aid Box, etc.
• Please note that if your skin is sensitive to henna, it is advised not to do it.
• Check the weather condition before stepping out. Prefer light clothes in summer and long, covered clothing with a jacket during the breezy winter season.
• It is not recommended to carry jewelry, expensive watches, or cell phones as the phone signal is not working in the desert.

Pickup and drop-off are available to and from Port Rashid, and hotels and apartments within Dubai. Pickup and drop-off is available to Bab Al Shams, Jebel Ali, Sport-Motor City, and Al Maha Resort at an additional cost, otherwise a nearby meeting point can be arranged.

• By UAE law, pregnant ladies and infants (under 3 years old), people with heart & back problems are not allowed to participate in the dune bashing activity. (If these conditions apply to anyone in your party, please get in touch with us to customize your tour).
• This tour is not wheelchair accessible, but if anyone in your group has any physical disabilities, please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate.

Important due to COVID-19:

• Protective masks must be worn on all commercial vehicles/modes of transport.
• The number of places is limited in order to avoid crowds.
• Passengers are only allowed in masks. Please, take your mask with you.
• Social distancing is provided in vehicles.
• All equipment and facilities are regularly disinfected.
